Cylinders are certified in the presence of an UDT inspector (Office of Technical Inspection); the process consists of the below listed stages:

• visual inspection of a cylinder
• weighing the cylinder zbiornika (to check for loss of cylinder weight) 
• pressure test (checking the cylinder for leaks and strength by means of a water pressure test in a closed circuit) 
• cylinder painting 
• changing the cylinder marking (by stamping the marking and the date of the next cylinder certification)
